Creative QA checklist
Every file gets the same checklist before a stakeholder sees it. The checks below run against the rendered creative itself: dimensions, element positions and colours are read back from the page, and contrast ratios are computed with the WCAG 2.1 formula, not estimated by eye.

Measuring the creative…
One real revision: v1 to v2
The first draft of the medium rectangle failed five checks, which traced back to three issues. Choose “300 × 250, v1 first draft” in the checklist above to see those fails measured live. Here is each issue, and the fix that went into v2.

Logo too close to the edge
- v1
- Logo placed 4 px from the top and left edges, inside the 10 px safe zone and under the 12 px clearspace rule.
- v2
- Moved to 14 px on both axes: clear of the safe zone, with clearspace of at least half the mark height (12 px).
Inconsistent headline size
- v1
- Headline set at 33 px. Every other size follows one type scale, and this broke it, pushing the headline into the artwork and the CTA down the frame.
- v2
- Reset to the approved 25 px for this spec, so the headline wraps the same way it does on the 300 × 600 and 160 × 600.
Low-contrast CTA
- v1
- Cream #F6F0E1 on Pear Gold #D8B24A: 1.78:1, under the 4.5:1 minimum for 11.5 px text. Pear Gold is also restricted to illustration in the brand guide.
- v2
- Cream on Cranberry #9B2335: 6.88:1, a pass for normal text, and the approved CTA fill.
